Bellringer 8/25/14

At 3:20 A.M., a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit in American Canyon, California. It has been the largest earthquake that has hit the area in 25 years. Altogether, on 3 people were in critical care. However, due to cleanup efforts, many schools, and businesses were closed. Gradually, the workers in California have worked overtime to provide order to the chaotic area of American Canyon, California.

Earthquakes are caused when the plates of the earth are moving, and the plates break at a fault. The released pressure caused an earthquake.
